Description

Taking it Personally

At Sirona care & health, we are proud that our culture is based on the principle that we treat our patients and each other the way we would our own loved ones. We are the provider of community health services across all ages in; Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).

As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we are commissioned by the NHS and Local Authorities, but by being fully independent we are able to be more agile and innovative how we look after adults and children, at home and at school.

During the past year, we have been working with our teams, our health system partners, and with voluntary, community, and third sector organisations to develop a shared vision, direction, and ambition for the future. The result of this work is our new Sirona Strategy: Improved Outcomes for All - a framework for working together to make the shifts that we all want to become a reality.

Sirona is a key partner within the BNSSG health system. As the single community healthcare provider for children’s and adult services across a population of almost 1 million people, our services span all ages from birth to end of life. We have over 3,500 employees and an annual turnover of over £200m which makes us one of the largest CICs in the country.

We are seeking an exceptional leader as our new Chief Digital Information Officer. With the Government’s 10 Year Plan setting out 3 radical shifts, there is an imperative for Sirona to harness the opportunities presented by digital innovation to improve clinical effectiveness and productivity in the services we provide.

You will lead and empower our IT and Digital services teams, ensuring strong resilience while enabling the seamless delivery of infrastructure, systems and programmes that support the provision and transformation of high-quality care, local service excellence, and regional collaboration. As an Executive member of the Board, you will be working across the organisation whilst also building strong and effective relationships with partners across the wider digital sector, always focused on delivering the best outcomes for patients.
